What does onboarding mean for Fincent?
Why focus on self-serve onboarding flow?
Organic flows came up from self-serve flow. Since offline flows were handled by sales and ops team, cofounder and I spent time analysing the conversions on this flow. 1. 88% of the users dropped off on the signup page 2. 90% of the users abandoned the 3rd step - plan selection page

Design Learnings
1. Personalised copy on signup screens with an active state input field is more user friendly 2. Using trustmarkers, and visual nudges with color or blurred background impacts the user to engage more 3. Consistency in modal size irrespective of the objective is essential to not let the user feel lost
Business Learnings
1. Questionnaire was relocated to a marketing page landing campaign as it better suited their needs than within the flow 2. Engagement post sign-up within the product is more crucial, which was added to the next release
